Andrés Martinez is a biochemical engineer and coffee producer who has already left his mark in the specialty coffee world. He started at Tenicafé Institute in Cauca researching coffee innovation and later landed a role at farm Finca El Pariso heading soil studies and process standardization where he worked alongside well known coffee producer, Diego Samuel Bermúdez. Andres has since started his newest chapter, two coffee farms of his own.

Caturra Floral is grown at one of Andrés’ farms, El Sendero which is 4 hectares in size and cared for by 4 employees. The harvest season is April through May and cultivars such as Geisha, Chiroso, Pink Bourbon, Polisperma, and Caturra are found growing throughout the farm.
