Loose leaf tea is best steeped in a free-floating glass container. This allows the tea to fully bloom, and the most optimal flavors are released when the leaves are not confined.
This vessel is the same one we use to serve tea in our shop. Tea is placed in the bottom of the glass, and the hot water is poured over top. The lid is secured in place, and when steeping is done the tea is poured with the lid still in place.
Re-steeping is easy with this vessel. The tea is kept behind, and new water can be added.
